Book Club Chooses "Half the Sky" for November Meeting

UAPA Book Club will meet on Monday, November 28 at the Upper Arlington Main Library, Room B. Our next selection is "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide" by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.

Our next meeting will be Monday, September 26, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Meeting B of Upper Arlington's Main Library, 2800 Tremont Road, Upper Arlington. We are starting a new book: Outright Barbarous: How the Violent Language of the Right Poisons American Democracy by Jeffrey Feldman. Everyone is invited.

Assignment: Read or listen to Prologue and Chapter 1 (Republicans and Democrats), Chapter 2 (Values) and Chapter 3 (Our Constitution). Login required to listen to the audio.
