2016 Membership Drive

UAPA began in 2004 and continues to help elect progressive candidates to all levels of government.  We do this by organizing educational programs, debate watch parties, and our website and newsletter, as well as by notifying volunteers of opportunities to help and providing yard signs and bumper stickers that enable progressives to “take a stand”.  All of this requires effort and money and the UAPA Executive Committee has decided to request annual dues of $25, beginning in May 2016.

Help bring Josh Fox's new movie "How to let go of the World, and Love all the things Climate Can't Change" to Columbus!

Carolyn Harding (Central Ohio Climate Action Coalition) has been working with Josh Fox's (Gasland I & II) team to bring his most recent film, "How to let go of the World, and Love all the things Climate Can't Change", to Columbus, on a 100 city tour.

Please watch the film trailer, and if you and/or your group, can and want to support this important film on climate change, and help bring it to Columbus, please consider making a contribution.

ProgressOhio Needs Our Help!

UAPA wants to see ProgressOhio continue to provide activist tools, information and strategies to move Ohio forward, but in an off year there is less funding for this essential progressive infrastructure. UAPA has made a $1,000 donation and some of our members have added another $200. Will you match us? Make a one-time or recurring donation online or send checks to 172 E. State St., 6th Floor Columbus, OH 43215.
