2024 Membership Drive

UAPA began in 2004 and continues to help elect progressive candidates to all levels of government.  We do this by organizing educational programs, debate watch parties, our website and newsletter, as well as by notifying volunteers of opportunities to help campaigns, making contributions, and offering yard signs and bumper stickers that enable progressives to “take a stand”.

2020 UAPA Accomplishments

UAPA, with the help of our members and friends, provided a tremendous amount of support to our efforts to turn Franklin County and Ohio blue. Unfortunately, all our efforts didn't result in Ohio voting the way we would have wished, with the exception of Jennifer Brunner's victory in the Supreme Court race. In Franklin County, we had much better results with Gary Tyack becoming the new Franklin County Prosecutor and 10 of 10 judges winning their races.

Please watch the film trailer, and if you and/or your group, can and want to support this important film on climate change, and help bring it to Columbus, please consider making a contribution.

ProgressOhio Needs Our Help!

ProgressOhio logo

UAPA wants to see ProgressOhio continue to provide activist tools, information and strategies to move Ohio forward, but in an off year there is less funding for this essential progressive infrastructure. UAPA has made a $1,000 donation and some of our members have added another $200. Will you match us? Make a one-time or recurring donation online or send checks to 172 E. State St., 6th Floor Columbus, OH 43215.
